Welcome to Deckit. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully, as they govern your use of the Deckit website, applications and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Deckit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and any additional policies referenced here, including our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Use of Service

Deckit provides an online software service that helps users create, import, edit and manage presentations and related content.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Deckit grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business or personal purposes.

You agree that you will not:

• Use the Service in any manner that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer or otherwise derive the source code of any software used to provide the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or the servers or networks connected to the Service
• Copy, frame or mirror any part of the Service without Deckit's prior written consent
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security or access control measures of the Service

3. User Accounts and Security

You may need to create an account to use parts of the Service. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete account information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify Deckit promptly of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security

Deckit reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms or used the Service in a way that may cause harm to Deckit, other users or third parties.

4. User Content and Presentations

You may upload, import or create content in Deckit, including presentations, documents, images, text, data and other materials ("User Content"). You retain all rights to your User Content.

By using the Service, you grant Deckit a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display and create derivative works from your User Content only as necessary to:

• Operate, maintain and improve the Service
• Render and edit slides and presentations
• Provide support and troubleshooting
• Maintain backups and disaster recovery

Deckit does not sell your User Content or use it for advertising.

If you connect third-party services such as Google Drive, you permit Deckit to access the files and data you select from those services in order to import them into Deckit and provide the requested features. Our use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Deckit does not use information obtained via Google's restricted scopes to serve ads or to build or train generalized models that are used outside of your Deckit experience.

You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content and your use of the Service comply with all applicable laws and do not infringe the rights of any third party.

5. Prohibited Conduct and Content

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload, create or share unlawful, harmful, defamatory, infringing, harassing, hateful, discriminatory or otherwise objectionable content
• Upload viruses, malware or other harmful code
• Send spam or other unsolicited communications
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts

Deckit may remove or disable access to any User Content and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

6. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services and may integrate with third-party platforms such as Google Drive. Deckit does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party websites or services.

The inclusion of any link or integration does not imply endorsement by Deckit. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and may be subject to separate terms and policies between you and those third parties.

7. Disclaimer

The Service and all materials provided through Deckit are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Deckit makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and disclaims all warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.

Deckit does not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free
• Any defects or errors will be corrected
• The results obtained from use of the Service will meet your requirements

8. Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Deckit or its suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business opportunities or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service, even if Deckit has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deckit's total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Deckit for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (US$100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

9. Accuracy of Materials

The materials appearing on Deckit may include technical, typographical or photographic errors. Deckit does not warrant that any of the materials on its website or within the Service are accurate, complete or current. Deckit may make changes to the materials contained on the Service at any time without notice, but has no obligation to update such materials.

10. Financial Disclaimer

Deckit is not a financial advisor. Any information, content or features provided through the Service are for informational and educational purposes only and should not be considered financial, investment, tax or legal advice.

You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on information obtained through the Service. Always seek the advice of qualified professionals before making financial or investment decisions.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Singapore to resolve any legal matter arising from these Terms or your use of the Service.
